I was browsing the isles of Michaels one day, and I found this stone effect spray paint. Of course, they only had ugly colours, so I put them back but then, before I left the store, I thought, what if I could use this stone effect on my glossy vase and then spray paint it white?

I thought it would be helpful to share some of the ways we are going to keep busy over the next two or so weeks. One of the best ways to keep kids entertained and in one place for longer than five minutes is to build a fort. It doesn't have to be fancy or cost any money.

Apple Crisp is one of the easiest Fall desserts to prepare; it's also one of our favourites. I make mine with extra oats, so it's basically breakfast.
