Burrata Salad Board

IMG_0762.JPG

Salad boards are my new favourite go-to for quick, healthy summer dinners. The kids are more inclined to eat when they choose what they are eating and the presentation. Summers are busy, and when it's really hot out, we avoid turning on the oven. This salad came together in just a few minutes!

Here's what we used in ours.

6 cups of lettuce a packaged lettuce mix

2 cups romaine lettuce chopped

Burrata Cheese in the Centre seasoned with salt and pepper

Grilled Chicken

Pine nuts

Strawberries

Carrots ( I use a vegetable peeler to make the strips thinner)

avocado

cucumbers

lemon wedges

Homemade Salad Dressing (2 TBSP olive oil to 1 TBSP lemon juice, salt, pepper, and fresh basil chopped)

What do you think about Salad Boards? Have you tried one yet?
