Gluten-Free Angel Food Cake From A Box

IMG_0868.JPG

Baking Gluten-Free cakes can be tricky. Especially when you are making them from scratch. Most require a lot of ingredients you might not have on hand or plan to use again. Over the last year I've been testing out various boxed mixes and I love this one enough to share. It's super easy! Light fluffy, and under $6.00. I usually buy a dozen eggs to make this cake but last weekend I bought a carton of Organic egg whites instead and not only were the results the same but it took less time, and I didn't have any waste. 24 Tablespoons equals the 12 egg whites the mix calls for. Make sure you sift the mix as recommended.

The cake turned out perfectly, it was light, fluffy, and a tad sticky.

I make whipped cream in my cordless mini food processor, It's one of the best appliances I own and used weekly. The charge holds for 5 hours, and it charges quickly like 30 mins. I make pesto, whipped cream, almond butter, etc.

You can find this mix on Amazon, Well.ca, at your local Sobeys, or on their website. I hope you found this review helpful. Let me know if you would like to see more!
