Tesser Traditions - Same brand, New Look

Good Morning,

I'm so pleased to reveal our new branding. Tesser Traditions is almost 4 years old, and until a few months ago we never had a clear idea of what we wanted our brand to represent. We've had two logos, but both were just logos, a quick fix for the time being. Not much thought or planning was put into them. To be honest, the primary focus was the cost. Back in April Anthony and I started talking about a clear vision for Tesser Traditions and where we wanted our business to be in five years. What once began as a hobby for this stay at home Mom has turned into a real business with a real future.

I first messaged Ivonne Karamoy last year with the intention of using her company to design a logo for us. I backed away because she was asking me questions I couldn't answer. When she first asked about the future goals of the company and talked about a mood board, I thought the process was too involved for what I needed. I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't care, I just wanted a new tag. I didn't want any hassle, just some pictures that I could Yay or Nay.  When Anthony and I decided the 5 year plan was to grow our business I contacted Ivonne again. We began the creative process at the end of May. During our first official meeting, I knew they this was the best way for Tesser Traditions to proceed. Saying our goals, and what we want our company to represent out loud was a huge eye opener for us, just the push we needed. I know Ivonne is an amazing artist, so when we talked about a custom hand sketched logo I was more excited than a kid on Christmas morning. I knew I would love some of her ideas, BUT I didn't know I would love all of them. Narrowing down the choices, she gave me was difficult because I could see the overall picture she painted in each of her ideas. I'm usually quick to make these types of decisions, but this time It took me a little while longer. I printed out each design and taped them around the house so I could walk by them for 24 hours before deciding which outlet to explore. Anthony was in New York, so we used our trusty old Facetime to discuss and agree. We loved the way she added; by Anthony & Megan Tesser, it felt so rewarding to see our names in our logo. The hand sketched one of a kind cotton stem is more beautiful than I could have imagined and has already inspired me in so many ways. I knew right away that I wanted the "logo mark" on a Thank You card.

Ivonne delivered in every way and exceeded every expectation. She helped us realize ideas that we didn't even know existed. I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity to work with her and to have her creativity involved in our brand. She made the whole process comfortable by walking us through each step. She's so much more than a graphic designer; she's a mentor, an artist, and a real branding expert. I couldn't refer or praise her enough.
