Vegan Almond Crackers
The Diy Almond Milk has been a massive hit at our house. I make a fresh batch every 2-3 days, and the almond pulp was building up in the freezer. I wanted to use it in something that would get eaten, a no-fail type of recipe. I googled all the different things you can make. It's incredible how many resources there are. I went with almond crackers. I made a variation of 4 different recipes I found online.
Ingredients:
1 cup of almond pulp (the leftovers from Diy almond milk)
1/3 cup of flax meal
2 tablespoons of olive oil
3 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon of sea salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
Preheat the over to 350ºF.
Mix all the ingredients until it's turned into a dough.
Roll between 2 pieces of parchment paper.
Using a pizza cutter cut into small squares.
Transfer to a cookie sheet and poke holes with a fork.
Bake for 25-30 mins depending on how crispy you like your cracker.
Tip - add more nutritional yeast for a "cheesier" spicy flavor.
What else are you making with your almond pulp?
