Valentine's Day 2018
When Anthony and I were younger, we exchanged gifts on Valentine's Day. One year he got me a game cube, yup! A game cube for Valentines Day. After that, I decided we should do nice things for each other instead. Before the kids came we would make dinner together; I would make a scrapbook style card, and bake something tasty. The days before he became a gluten-free, vegetarian were so much easier. Now that we have Morgan and Kendall we all make gifts. Last year Morgan and Anthony built this adorable box, we ordered heart pizza from Boston Pizza and ate it by candlelight. Anthony and I usually go out for dinner without the kids a few days before the 14th, this year we will be on a cruise! Our very first one. If you have any tips or stories from your experiences, I would love to hear them! GOOD ones only, please and thank you.
We still skip on the gifts for each other but we do buy the kids a little something.Nothing expensive, just something cute for them to see in the morning. I give a card to Morgan, and Anthony gives a card to Kendall.
The kids and I spent last week working on some fun DIY's for the blog. You can see them here
