When the street lights start turning on at 7:45, I know fall is coming. I’ve always loved this time of year. It is time for good food, entertaining, making your home cozy, and spending more time snuggled up with blankets. I especially love all the holidays that start with a Fall arrives. Thanksgiving this year will feel very different because my dad won’t be here to join us. Part of me wants to do nothing, but the other part of me knows how disappointed he would be if I were to do that, so this year, I’m hosting like I usually do. I’ll set a beautiful table, and even though he won’t be gathered with us, I know we will still feel him here. Sending all my love to those of you who are missing loved ones.
