Over the next few weeks, I'm going to share some of my favourite food DIY's, that save you money, require only a few simple ingredients, and taste better than anything you'll find at the grocery store.
Granola is a big deal at our house! We love granola on yogurt topped with berries. Gluten-free granola has a hefty price tag. This recipe is simple, and you can add almost anything you like.
Today I used a few cups of gluten-free oats, some almond slivers (made using the food processor) some dark chocolate chips, and a tiny drizzle of honey.
Maple syrup, oats, pumpkin seeds
Honey, oats, pecans, cinnamon, hemp seeds
Maple syrup, walnuts, chia seeds
Maple syrup, shaved apples, cinnamon
Bake at 400F for 15-25 mins, stirring once, until toasted.
Let me know your favourite variations!
